  11. These icons are based upon the new MacOS Logo introduced by Apple on Sept 19, 1994. A kind soul has already made an icon representing the logo and put it on the main Internet archives. This is where I got my inspiration from.

  21. I changed the icons from folders with custom icons to ResEdit files with custom icons. I’ve also enclosed a ResEdit file with a MacOS system folder icon ready to be pasted into the “System” file with ResEdit.
  22. NB: You can change the name of the “blessed” system folder to “MacOS” (Or any other name for that matter.) as well

  24. For the ResEdit Challenged: A good book for learning ResEdit is “Zen and the Art of Resource Editing: The BMUG Guide to ResEdit, Third Edition” by Derrick Schneider, Hans Hansen, and Noah Potkin.
